HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-xa0077c

I have a 4-year extended warranty through my Citibank Costco Visa card (which I bought the HP All-In-One).  I am 3.5 years into using the system and I had a sudden motherboard failure.  I took the AIO to GeekSquad for analysis and estimate, and they confirmed motherboard failure.  There is NO damage the the AIO, and it worked fine until just one day while using the screen went black, and would never re-boot or power back on.  Anyway, the extended warranty "mirrors" the original HP manufacturer's 12-month warranty, which when I read, includes hardware failures, labor, etc.  I keep getting denied for coverage because Citicard is stating that the original HP warranty does NOT cover motherboard failure.  Can anyone provide me with any documents of support that it would be covered.  I appreciate your assistance.
