@wakakaa appears to have successfully installed a Samsung EVO plus after updating the BIOS. I cannot view Wakakaa's images at this time so we will have to wait until the forum approves the images.
It looks like the BIOS update will allow you to boot to a NVME SSD installed in a PCIe adapter. This means you can clone or image the current operating system (OS) to the new NVME SSD, or install the OS clean on the new NVME SSD for use as a primary OS boot disk.
This is the first time I have seen this happen in the forum. Native M.2 support is usually required to boot to a NVME SSD installed in a PCIe adapter..

To supplement, I upgraded the BIOS and then disconnected everything except the original SATA SSD & new Samsung EVO Plus M.2 NVMe (not NGFF). Then I used Acronis to clone the Windows from SATA to M.2 NVMe.
After that, disconnect the SATA SDD and connect the M.2 SSD only. Then, booted into the Windows. Wow!

Opps.... sorry mine is SSF instead of TWR, but it is definitely 800 G2.
Also, the Windows Boot Manager is detected as M.2 with first boot priority.
