Product: Compaq 8100 elite
Operating System: Linux

Hello everyone, I've been having some issues with booting from a usb that seems to work on another pc just fine. I'm unsure as to what the issue is and how to fix it since it seems to just refuse to boot from said usb. 

 

I have tried booting from the usb on a family members pc (a Lenovo) and it boots completely fine and without issue. Whenever I try to boot from it on my pc it simply starts up as it usually would.

 

How would I go about getting it to work? Any info would be appreciated

Hi,

This would depend what OS / Application you're attempting to boot from USB.

 

This can be down to many things but most commonly UEFI or Bios security settings.
