Keyboard and mouse isn't working after opening.

Intially it's showing like this .

Your second image is typical for Windows, waiting for you to "click" your mouse, or press the ENTER key.

 

Try a different "wired" (not "wireless") keyboard and mouse.  Borrow one from a friend?

 

Dead battery in a "wireless" keyboard or mouse?
