hi

HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Desktop Mini, HP EliteDesk 705 G2 Desktop Mini, HP ProDesk 600 G2 Desktop Mini,...

no doubt, for the error code?
unless I misread, the maximum mentioned in the doc here is 5.5..
so the closest would be 5.3

but check what is indicated in this manual

Thanks for the prompt response and the manual.

All I could try was resetting the CMOS, per manual instructions.

Still 6 red blinks (slow) and 3 white blinks (fast).

hi

Sorry, I read upside down, your explanation didn't you see in the manual?

" Still 6 red blinks (slow) and 3 white blinks (fast). "

The red LED blinks to represent the major error category (long blinks). The white LED blinks to represent the
minor error category (short blinks). For example, ‘3.5’ indicates 3 long red blinks and 5 short white blinks to
communicate the processor is not detected.

Hardware

3.6 The processor does not support an enabled feature

that' s it ?

It's definitely 6 reds and 3 whites (6 long red blinks and 3 short white blinks), so 6.3, not 3.6

Thanks

Sorry but it seems that what you indicated does not correspond to what is mentioned in the doc here

and you give me different directions, no ?

in title first message " LED blinking 6 times red slowly then 3 times white quickly "

second  "  Still 6 red blinks (slow) and 3 white blinks (fast). "

and " It's definitely 6 reds and 3 whites (6 long red blinks and 3 short white blinks), so 6.3, not 3.6 "

 red LED blinks  (long blinks).

white LED  (short blinks)

Si if it s 6 long red blinks, hp

don't give information for this, the max long is 5

Interpreting system validation diagnostic front panel LEDs and
audible codes

During the system validation phase that occurs at system startup, the BIOS validates the functionality of the
following subsystems and conditions:

AC adapter
System board power
Processor failure
BIOS corruption
Memory failure
Graphics failure
System board failure
BIOS authentication failure
If an error is detected, specific patterns of long and short blinks, accompanied by long and short beeps (where
applicable) are used to identify the error. These patterns will make up a two part code:

Major – the category of the error
Minor – the specific error within the category

Number of long beeps/blinks Error category
1 Not used
2 BIOS
3 Hardware
4 Thermal
5 System board

Sorry, so I can't help you identify this error code!
try to test as indicated above
The best will be to consult a professional I think.

Really appreciate your patience and perseverance digging thru this and thanks again!  I will bring it to a repair shop to assess condition/possible fix.

Again, thank you!

Best Reagards!

Thanks very much
But I'm sorry, for not being able to help you more than that.
When I had done research, I did find indications with this error code, but ultimately it did not correspond to the real error
for example same thing
