Two weeks back i have an notification on my laptop that says that " The system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly"

today my laptop is not turning on

It sounds like your laptop's cooling fan issue might have led to overheating, which can prevent it from turning on. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Hold down the power button for about 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power adapter (without the battery) and try turning on the laptop.

Check the Power Supply:

  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the laptop and the wall outlet.
  • Try using a different power outlet or adapter to rule out any issues with the power source.

Inspect for Overheating:

  • Make sure the laptop is on a flat, hard surface to allow proper ventilation.
  • Use compressed air to clean out any dust from the vents and cooling fan.
