my laptop is not working, it has been under performance since may, and whenever it gets a little higmy laptop is not working, it has been under performance since may, and whenever it gets a little high load, it tends to flicker black screen. and it did get turned off for days until it got good again one day. i was using it just like that for a couple months, but yesterday when i was trying to run hp diagnostics, it went to black screen again. and it's not turning on since last night. it is getting charging port led light, but no screen is turning on or the keyboard backlight

It sounds like there may be a hardware problem. Since the laptop was already showing a black screen when under load, and now it does not turn on at all, I would first try a hard reset.

Unplug the charger and remove any USB devices. Then hold the power button for about 20 seconds. After that, connect the charger and try turning it on again.

If you still only see the charging light and there is no screen or keyboard light, I think it is better to get it checked by an HP technician. It could be something with the RAM, motherboard, or power system.
