Hello. Since yesterday I was playing Roblox because this is my work & gaming laptop. I believe it’s an HP Windows 11 laptop. I’ve never lagged. Every single day I’m with this laptop. No problems. Yesterday, it froze for 3 minutes straight then completely shut down. Afterwards, I turned it on and it just said “Preparing Automatic repair.”

It froze at 4:54 PM and started booting. By 10:00 it was still “booting.” This is the only laptop I have, and got it for my birthday. I’ve looked up atleast 100 tutorials in YouTube, TikTok etc. and still nothing.

I just want this laptop working again. It’s for everything I do. My work, school, files, pictures. I really do hope someone can help me.

And if it doesn’t say “Preparing Automatic repair,” then it would just have the HP logo with the loading icon.

Update: I gave it a system text and the Hard Drive/SSD Short DST Check gave a warning, what am I supposed to do now?

Its Great that you’ve already performed the advanced hardware diagnostics and noted that the Hard Drive/SSD Short DST Check returned a warning. This result  suggests that the storage drive may be experiencing a hardware issue.
