I am trying to boot from an external drive and I realize that it does not show up as a boot device so I know that must mean legacy is disabled right but when I got into bios settings there is no legacy option for the bios i checked everywhere even the internet but this is my last option anyone that reads this pls help me

The Internet is a vast wasteland. I doubt that you checked "all" of it.
When you enter BIOS SETUP, do you have the option to add/delete devices from the "Boot" menu?
If so, is "external USB" listed as an option?
Some motherboards have the option to enable/disable booting from USB. Be sure to "enable" that option.
