Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I power on the desktop, it make really load beeping noise for a minute and then it opens a error page with the following error message.

ERROR: Unsupported adapter installed. 

PC will automatically power down in a few seconds.

Keyboard error.

 

What is your opinion?

Do you have anything plugged into any of the USB ports?  It would complain if it found something connected and did not have drivers installed for it.

 

Are the mouse and keyboard wired or WiFi?  If wired, then try a different keyboard and mouse.  IF WiFi, check the batteries in the keyboard and mouse and replace them.

The computer is a friends. He said it was dropped about a month ago, but still worked until today. So today, he said it started making this noise and then go to the error page. I asked him for further details. He said he never used the keyboard to it because they would just use the touchscreen keyboard. And the the keyboard he has is WiFi. My opinion is to replace the screen to see if that fixes it. But, I do not want to do that unless it is the reason for the issue.
