HP Desktop - 460-p006nl (ENERGY STAR)

He comprado este HP Desktop 460-p006nl en Palermo (Italia) que tiene la versión F04 del BIOS SSID 81B4 y estoy tratando de actualizar a la versión F42 pero el ejecutable descargado desde la página de soporte se ejecuta y termina pero no hace absolutamente nada.

Tampoco veo forma de cambiar el idioma de la BIOS que trae a Español o Inglés.

I recommend you to upgrade first with older BIOS versions.

Gracias por la recomendación  Resistencia, pero ya he probado tambien con versiones antiguas y aunque todas se ejecutan hasta el 100%, reinicio el ordenador y sigue en la versión F04 del BIOS, es como si no se quedase grabada esa nueva versión en la ROM del BIO, a pesar de que no me da ningún mensaje de error.

If you are using Windows 11 you cannot update the BIOS, you must use windows 10.

I  think that Windows 11 and Windows 10 are basically the same, but I apreciate your recomendation and I will test it, thank you.

That would be normal, but you forced a windows 11 installation on a model that does not support windows 11 so I recommend if you want to upgrade use windows 10.
