Elitedesk 800 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In the last few months we've been seeing an issue where several of our Mini G3 desktops are getting stuck at the screen where it says "Protected by HP SureStart" for a varied length of time. I've experienced as little as 60 seconds, to as long as 1 hour and 20 minutes. Eventually they get to Windows, but if interrupted, they blue screen on next boot with a System32 error, and then go through the same cycle and eventually get to Windows.

If you press esc or the F keys quick enough, you can still get to BIOS or other menus, but if you wait past the initial window of time, ALL USB devices are disabled. They are disabled until the hung screen is finished and then Windows loads. This makes it impossible to use any part of the system unless you hard shut down, or just wait.

Things we've tried:

- Updating BIOS version

- Previous BIOS version

- Disabling booting from USB and Network

- Unplugging all USB devices

- Disabling USB ports in BIOS

- Adjusting the Legacy and Secure boot options

- Decrypting the system (We use Dell DDPE)

The only true resolution we've found is to re-image them. Once that happens, they're fine for a while, but it has re-occured in some cases.
