HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-1000i (6L728AV)

I have a brand new HP desktop, and an old (ca. 15 years?) monitor.  My monitor has DVI input, and my PC does not have DVI output as such.  My graphics card appears to have HDMI and DP connectors.  Can I connect my monitor and PC by means of a DVI to HDMI adaptor, and if so, is there anything I need to check about the adaptor?  I have tried connecting by a DVI to USB-C adaptor, but that isn't working.  At all!

Hi @RSHLRA

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You should be able to use a HDMI to DVI adapter or an adapter cable. Check Amazon for options.

Make sure you get the correct DVI to HDMI adapter or DVI to HDMI cable. This would be determined by the TV's DVI port.

DVI options are:

DVI-A

DVI-D

DVI-I

Regards
