Hi @Lucy-Lu25,

I understand your HP All-in-One Desktop PC (22-dg0000i) won’t turn on but makes beeping sounds when plugged in. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Note the Beep Pattern
Count the number of beeps and whether they are long or short. This pattern helps identify specific hardware issues like memory, display, or motherboard faults.

Power Reset the PC
Disconnect the power cable and all peripherals (keyboard, mouse, USB drives). Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Then reconnect only the power cable and try to turn it on again.

Check Power Source and Cable
Plug the power cord directly into a working wall socket instead of a surge protector. Inspect the cable and adapter for any damage or loose connection.

Listen for Fan or Drive Sounds
When pressing the power button, check if you hear the fan spinning or hard drive starting. If you hear these but no display appears, the issue may be with the screen or internal connection.

Reset the Memory Modules (if comfortable doing so)
If you’re familiar with handling internal components, unplug the power, open the back panel, and gently remove and reinsert the RAM modules. A loose or misaligned RAM stick is a common cause of beep codes and startup issues.

Disconnect External Devices
Remove all USB drives, SD cards, and other external devices before turning the PC on again. Sometimes connected peripherals can block startup.

I hope this helps.
