SYSTEM was working last night. When I powered up this morning I got to the windows 10 logon screen.
But, the mouse and Keyboard were dead and I can't logon.
I tried replacing both the keyboard and mouse with know good ones (they work on other computer) and got
the same results. I plugged in a direct keyboard and mouse and received the same results.
I tried plugging the mouse into all Serial ports and nothing changed. I did notice that the mouse light never
came on.
I tried other USB devices, and none worked. It looks like the 5v power supply is dead.
Anybody knows what replacement POWER supply for HP Envy Desktop 750-427c will work?
This unit is from 2018. I hate to lose it. Yes, did take it to a local PC specialist and he could not help.

Hi @Larry2003
I don't know if anyone in the Forum can help if a local PC Tech could not diagnose the problem.
The PC does a successful POST and loads the Windows sign-in screen. Most MBs have two or more USB controllers. It would be very unusual to have all USB controllers fail or see all USB ports fail at the same time.
Did the Tech provide any clues as to what component has failed?
HP specs at this Site list a 300 watt ATX power supply. So any ATX power supply with the same dimensions as your HP PSU should work with the case and the MB.
