Hi Paul,

As always it's always so great to be able to speak with you and like I've told you previously I surely do value your time and knowledge !! We were speaking previously about my my hp compaq pro 6300 sff desktop computer not functioning properly, since I installed a new power supply & swapped out the original 6300 sff motherboard with one that was pulled from a hp compaq elite 8300 sff desktop computer is functioning properly again..yeah !! Now of course due to the swapout of the motherboard my desktop 'thinks' that it's now a hp compaq elite 8300 sff computer. The current bios on it is (HP v02.51, dated 06/15/2012), I read this post here in the hp support community    https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boot-and-Lockup/HP-Compaq-Elite-8300sff-BIOS-update-for-new-CP...  where you had provided information concerning upgrading the bios to a more recent versions, first updating to v 02.99 & then to v 03.08, but having to first update install the older version first then the newer version. I've downloaded both version's onto my computer & unblocked both of them in the properties area in settings. So all I need to do know if determine the safest & easiest way to get them installed into my bios area. I do apologize in advance for once again asking for your guidance about something computer related, but of course I'm SO grateful that you have that knowledge !! Stay Safe & Healthy !
