There is a McAfee Pre-Install tool  that can look for problems as described here

https://forums.mcafee.com/t5/SecurityCenter/Getting-100-s-of-mcafee-name-resolution-warnings-in-even...

My solution was to uninstall McAfee and I was refunded the amount left on my  LifeSafe subscription.

I had extensive timeouts when McAfee was phoning home.
