Hi everyone, I have been getting this problem with my computer recently, which is that it randomly restarts. I have sent it to reperation center, they changed the SSD, but nothing has changed as of yet i check if the drivers or Windows were installed corretly which they were. Everything is up to date, the BIOS as well. I even have factory reset and downloaded everything again from a USB Key, but i still have the same issue. Does anyone have a recommendation i do not want to send my PC again for the third time for repair.

If there a particular application (or game?) that causes the problem?  Many games have patches for various problems.  Some applications might be newer than the PC and require a newer driver than at the HP site.  Tihs is especially true for apps that use CUDA or OpenCL libraries for AI or graphics work

CPU or GPU running hot?

You mentioned SSD replacement.  Possibly an SSD firmware update might be needed.

What is your model or product ID?

Check to see if there is a hardware problem: Watch this video.

Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.

If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty

If the component is not tested then possibly it is in the updated version of UEFI diagnostics

HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically.
When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics.
There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here
Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS',
Click the DOWNLOAD button.
The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button.
When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one.

If no failure then windows drivers or file corruption could be the problem.

Let me know what you find out.
