My computer will not power on. I need to find the serial number, but it is not located anywhere.

I have an HP Envy All-In-one a1055 computer. My computer will no longer power on. I have a service contract. They require that I take a picture of the model number and serial number. But neither are anywhere that is visible on the outside of the computer. Where can I find it?

Since you can't get it to turn on, you can't run any apps that would display the serial number.

All I can suggest is looking for a receipt, either hard copy or soft, as the serial numbers are often printed on the purchase receipts.  You could also call where you bought it, as they might have soft copy of the purchase receipt.
