Help please - PC will not start up. It beeps 5 times pauses a couple of seconds and then beeps another 5 times. Total beeps is 25 times. (5 beeps, pauses, another 5 beeps, pauses, another 5 beeps, pauses, another 5 beeps, pauses, another 5 beeps. Screen is blank, no messages, only beeps. I tried reseating the memory but it felt like the locking mechanism wasn’t stable and when I tried to reboot it it had the same error code as before.
I don’t know if I reseated the memory wrong or if it is something else.

Hi,
Five beeps suggests a possible RAM problem or a system board problem.
Try one stick of memory in each memory slot. Try a different, known good, stick of memory in each slot.
Try compressed air on the memory slots. Let the MB sit for a while after using compressed air.
Could be a MB problem if the PC cannot POST.
