Hello dear community, I hope everyone is doing well.

Laptop Type : Hp 820 G2 notebook

Problem: Won't power on

My computer won't power on whenever I hit the power button the fan generates more sound and even if I  connected the Ac power it generates more sound.

As well as  I see the Leds glow that indicates the power is available. But no text, colours or even the windows logo. I just hear the sound of fan and see that power is on.

Please help me and my computer is very important to me.

Best regards,

A Junior

Hello Ub6424, I hope you are doing well.

I followed the steps but whenever I hit or press the power it will generate more sound 🔊. And even sometimes I pressed the power for 1 minutes but it won't work. Aslo,  Which USB Flash DRIVE can I use? Aslo, can I connect my Windows 10 to Windows 11 or I need  to connect Windows 10?

Best regards,

Junior

Hello @junior454

FAT32-formatted small <USB flash drive> (Type USB 2.0) should work.

Hello Ub6424, I did everything but it seems that I got  confused the steps while following them.

So, could you send me a link or video about the process?

The problem I face during the process:

Whenever I hit the power button or plug in Ac adapter the fan generates more sound  as well as when I connect the better even without hitting the power button the fan generates more sound then after 4 seconds  the computer will shut down.

Also if press the power button for 30 seconds or I munites the computer will not shut down- but sometimes it works.

But I  didn't connect the USB flash drive

Best regards

Hello Ub6424, I got the solution and I say thanks for the help! But the problem is Ram and I checked it. So can I clean the ram or I need to buy another one? And finally,

What's your advice about Ram?
