Hello. Sadly, today my old HP laptop stop working. When you press Power button, the screen stays black and only caps lock button blinks white twice. I found out thats problem may be in BIOS, so i need files to reinstall and recovery it on my laptop. Please, send me the necessary files to create a BIOS recovery on a USB drive

Hi @Nikiporis,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about your HP Pavilion 15 issue. To create a BIOS recovery USB drive, you'll need to download the appropriate BIOS file from HP's official website. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to proceed.
Identify Your Laptop Model: Make sure you have the exact model number of your HP Pavilion 15. This can usually be found on the bottom of the laptop or in the original documentation.
Visit HP's Support Website: Go to the HP Support website.
Search for Your Laptop Model: Enter your laptop's model number in the search bar and select it from the results.
Navigate to BIOS Downloads: Look for the "Drivers & Downloads" section, and then go to the "BIOS" tab.
Download the BIOS File: Find the latest BIOS update for your model and download the BIOS recovery file. It will typically be in a ZIP format.
Prepare the USB Drive:
- Use a USB drive with at least 1GB of space.
- Format the USB drive to FAT32 file system.
- Extract the downloaded BIOS file to the root directory of the USB drive.
Create the BIOS Recovery USB:
- The extracted files should include a .bin or .fd file, which is the BIOS image.
Perform the Recovery:
- Insert the USB drive into your laptop.
- Power off the laptop.
- Press and hold the Windows key and the B key simultaneously, and then press the Power button.
- Continue holding the Windows and B keys until you see a BIOS recovery screen or hear beeps.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello. The problem is that when I enter my serial number, the site says that my laptop is no longer serviced and the files have been deleted. And that I can find help on the forum. I can't download these files from the site myself, please send them to me, I don't want to lose my device

You aren't the only one with a black screen after the most recent Windows Update. HP bricked my brand new workstation. I suspect an embedded firmware update broke something because I no longer have a display with the Nvidia graphics. The HP monitor works too, I tested it, but no BIOS screen or login screen or sounds. Removing the graphics card and plugging into the Intel onboard card gets me a display, but HP says it can't repair my system and no access to Windows at all to troubleshoot, not even Safe Mode. I can get into the BIOS, but it claims everything is A OK and has the most recent firmware. I suspect there are a lot more of us out there with black displays after this one too. I am not happy.
