HP ENVY 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 (388P6AV)

I received a bring new Evfvy All-in=-One.  THe second time it tried to restart it hung with the HP logo on the main screen (I have 2 and when Windows usually boot correctly it shows the logo on both).  Hardware tests showed nothing. Bios CHECK showed no HW issues.  Support says it is likely in the windows boot not BIOS.  I reinstalled windows from the cloud it is running but I do not know if I can restart successfully or not.   Anyone else had this issue?

Note the site Windows boot issues troubleshooting - Windows Client | Microsoft Learn explains possible issues but not how to find exactly where the problem is.

Hi @condry,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing boot issues with your HP ENVY 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 (388P6AV).

Please follow the steps listed below for BIOS recovery:

1. Turn off the computer and keep the power adapter plugged in.

2. Press and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time, and then press and hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds.

3. Release the Power button but continue pressing the Windows and B keys. You might hear a series of beeps.

4. The HP BIOS Update screen displays, and the recovery begins automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts to continue the start up to complete the recovery.

Thank you for the information on the BIOS fix.  I do not believe it would work in this case but it is good information.

HP discovered the issue.   I asked if I could just update the BIOS but they said it impacted many machines requiring a factory fix.
