No BIOS option for auto restart after power outage.(HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation)
05-20-2021 07:15 AM

Dear Sir,
I am working from home now.
The remotely controlled PC cannot automatically restart after power failure.
In the BIOS settings, I cannot find the option to automatically restart after a power failure.
Does this PC not support this function?
Thank you~

hi
Except for good reason, I recommend against this option!
I deactivate it on all my computers, for a simple reason
when you have electrical micro-cuts, the computer can go into start-up and shutdown states, it can be very risky for the hardware!
in the document here, we see these options:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06527753.pdf
Advanced
Power Management Options
Runtime Power Management
Extended Idle Power States
Wake when Lid is Opened
Wake when AC is Detected
Wake on USBPower Control
