The HP support phone-number for The Netherlands is 020-721-9041
Make sure you call early in the morning, I believe they are available from 8 AM.
Note: my PC has been @ the repair centre since the 5th of October.
Edit: it's likely going to remain there the entire month, parts are said to arrive on the 28th of Oktober.

I thought I'd give a little update. I contacted HP as you suggested, they were very helpful. After giving information about my product etc. I was able to send my unit to a HP repair center. The service was very fast and I got my unit back in no-time. Everything was fixed and my Windows installation was still intact. In the repair note they apparently replaced the CPU.
So to everyone who's having the same problem and reading this, probably your only solution is to call HP and explain the situation. They will help and instruct you further.
