I’ve tried mashing every key during startup. ESC doesn’t do it, F1, F2, F10, delete, nothing will take me to the bios or the OMEN setup utility or anything like that, just straight to entering my pin like normal. All I need to do is see if this bios has a setting to change my function keys to multimedia keys because I don’t want to have to hold another button to adjust my volume. FN+ESC didn’t work for that and apparently some BIOS have an option for this in there but I’ve tried every key anyone has ever said might get me to the BIOS settings and none of them work.

Hi @Badwolf74,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Are you using a Wireless keyboard or wired?
If you are using a wireless keyboard, it could be an issue with the PC itself.
Have you made any changes to your OS? If yes, this could be a compatibility issue.
Try updating the Bios by using the serial number and current OS. Click here
Also, try using a Wired keyboard and see if that makes any difference.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
