Omen Gaming PC Frequently Freezes in bios on startup

8 out of 10 times I turn on this PC, it gets stuck at the omen logo and spinning circle, just before windows kicks in.

I have to hold the power button to shut it down, and restart. Most times, it starts normally after the first restart, but sometimes, it takes several to get it to windows.

I've run the HP assistant and done the bios update. No drivers were showing as needing updates. I also ran the diagnostics tests, and all passed.

did you make any hardware changes?
