Hi @MassiveL ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your OMEN by HP Desktop PC is not progressing past the OMEN logo and you're unable to access the BIOS or perform other commands, it can be indicative of a few potential issues. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Power Cycle:

  • Shut down the computer completely.
  • Unplug the power cable from the back of the desktop.
  • Wait for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn on the PC.

Check Peripherals:

  • Disconnect all external devices (such as USB drives, printers, etc.) except for the keyboard and mouse.
  • Try restarting the computer to see if any external devices were causing the issue.

Reset CMOS:

  • You can try resetting the CMOS by removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard for a few minutes and then putting it back in. This can reset the BIOS settings.

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • If the computer is stuck during the Windows loading process, try booting into Safe Mode. This can be done by repeatedly pressing the F8 key during startup.

Check Hardware Connections:

  • Ensure that all internal hardware components (RAM, GPU, etc.) are properly seated in their respective slots.

Boot from a Windows Installation or Recovery Disk:

  • If you have a Windows installation or recovery disk, you can try booting from it. This will allow you to access troubleshooting options, including the ability to repair the startup process.

Run Diagnostics:

  • Some HP computers have built-in diagnostics. You can access this by pressing the F2 key or Esc key during startup. Run the hardware diagnostics to check for any hardware issues.

Update BIOS:

  • Check the HP support website for your specific model and see if there are any BIOS updates available. If so, try updating the BIOS.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
