Product: HP Z2 Mini G9 Workstation Desktop PC RCTO Base Model

Braintrust, 

I have a new HP Z2 Mini G9 Workstation and it takes over 10 minutes to get to the login screen after a reboot. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is causing this, but this cannot be normal behavior for a workstation with a M.2 boot drive. Any thoughts as to what is causing this? I tried to delete the HP Sure bloatware and Wolf Security apps. It's beyond frustrating waiting for 10+ for a reboot after installing updates or new software/etc.

After some troubleshooting, I have come to learn that the external Thunderbolt RAIDs I have connected are causing the lengthy reboot/start up times. While disconnected (but with USB 3 drives connected), it boots as expected. However, when connected, it can take 5-10 minutes (they are two 32TB RAIDs). 

 

I have played around with various settings in the BIOS, including turning DCA Thunderbolt security settings,  but no luck. 


Any. insight/suggestions would be appreciated.
