My Z420 works fine with one DVD station.
Installed a second DVD station.
Now, the start-up doesn't go any further then the black screen with the HP Logo. This screen gives me 2 options: "Press any key for Option ROM Messages" or "Press the ESC key for Startup menu".
After select ESC, PC starts up. In Device Manager I can find both DVD stations and Windows says both are OK.
Disconnected the second DVD station: PC starts-up normally again.
Connected the second DVD station and disconnected the first DVD station: PC starts-up normally.
Is this a BIOS issue? How to solve the start-up issue when 2 DVD stations are installed?
Thank you.
