Hi @Honza1111

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Pavilion Gaming desktop won't start after a BIOS update, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Power Cycle the Computer:

  • Disconnect the power cable and any peripherals.
  • Hold down the power button for about 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the power cable and try starting the computer again.

Reset the BIOS:

  • Turn off the computer and unplug it.
  • Open the case and locate the CMOS battery (a round, silver battery on the motherboard).
  • Remove the battery for about 5-10 minutes, then reinsert it.
  • Alternatively, look for a jumper labeled "CLR CMOS" or "Reset BIOS" and follow the instructions in your motherboard manual.

Try to Recover the BIOS:

  • Some HP systems have a BIOS recovery feature. You can try this:
    • Turn off the computer.
    • Press and hold the Windows key and the B key together.
    • While holding the keys, press and hold the power button for about 2-3 seconds, then release the power button while still holding the Windows and B keys.
    • After a few seconds, you should see a BIOS recovery screen if this method works.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • Ensure all components (RAM, GPU, etc.) are properly seated.
  • If you have multiple RAM sticks, try booting with one stick at a time in different slots.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
