OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 880-013na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I recently wanted to factor reset my PC due to a lot of junk collected over the years. My problem began after an unfortunate coincidence of a power out in the whole house and PC having to be turned off while still initiating the factory reset. Now the PC won't load to the main menu of windows, when opened, it tries to load it but after few seconds immediately restarts itself. I run the diagnostic that is given by HP and it seems like the error is from "Hard Drive Short DST Check" which fails in the test. Failure ID is: 0GAEM1-8S8C02-MFPQQK-60R803. Is this fixable on my own or would I have to go to Curry's for a fix?

If you have the boot media boot the PC and go to command prompt and run chkdsk /f /r

this will find and repair the bad sector
