I updated my BIOS tonight. After after it rebooted, I got the 3 long beep 2 short beep, memory failure code. I took out all of the memory and slotted them one at a time, they seem to be fine. so I slotted in slot one and 3, still fine, put in all 4 and it won't boot up. I took them all out and slotted the 2 from 2/4 into 1/3 and it was fine. I have tried combinations in 2/4 also fine. I am running corsair vengeance RGB Pro SL DDR4 16GB sticks. (64GB total). I have had them in my PC for 2 months with no issues until I ran the BIOS update.
I also booted into BIOS and changed the memory overclocking to XMP profile 1 and still no go

Hi @goddss6,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It's unfortunate to hear about the issues with your memory after the BIOS update. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the problem.
Reset the BIOS: Sometimes a BIOS reset can help clear any potential conflicts that may have arisen during the update.
- Power off your PC and disconnect it from the power source.
- Locate the CMOS battery on your motherboard and remove it for a few minutes.
- Reinsert the CMOS battery and reconnect your PC to the power source.
- Power on your PC and enter the BIOS to reconfigure your settings.
Check for BIOS Updates: There might be a newer BIOS update available that addresses memory compatibility issues.
- Visit the HP support website and check if there is a newer BIOS version available for your OMEN 25L Gaming Desktop PC.
Revert to Previous BIOS Version: If the latest BIOS update is causing issues, you might consider reverting to the previous version.
- This process can vary depending on the motherboard and BIOS version.
Verify Memory Compatibility: Ensure that your Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL DDR4 sticks are compatible with your motherboard. Although they worked previously, the BIOS update might have introduced new compatibility checks.
- Check the motherboard’s QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for compatible memory modules.
Test Each Module Individually: As you've done before, test each memory module individually to ensure none of the sticks are faulty.
- Insert one memory stick at a time and boot the PC to see if it passes the POST (Power-On Self-Test).
Adjust Memory Settings in BIOS: If the default XMP profile is not working, try adjusting memory settings manually.
- Enter the BIOS and disable XMP.
- Manually set the memory frequency, timings, and voltage according to the specifications of your Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL sticks.
Check for Physical Issues: Ensure that all memory sticks are properly seated in their slots and that there is no dust or debris in the slots.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
