Hi,
I am out of the USA and cannot find physical help.
My
HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae013dx
is shutting itself down with those error messages:
1. 3F0 Boot Device Not Found or Hard Disk Error
2. The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery .
Please help.
Thanks.
Pia

This nearly always means the primary drive has failed, will need to be replaced, and Windows reinstalled on the PC.
See the following HP Guide for more information:

Thank you!
Technician here in Sicily proposed to replace the battery with a compatible so NOT original for 120euros. What do you recommend? Should I proceed with it?
They suggest leaving the DRIVE alone.
Thanks,
Pia

That error means the drive is failing -- NOT the battery. You could replace the battery but you would still be getting the same problems -- and they will only get worse.

These are two different issues.
The 60x error is for the battery.
Here's a document from HP about battery charging issues:

AndhHere's a video from HP Support about troubleshooting battery issues:

The 3F0 error is for the drive.
