Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Turned on my desktop and it went into BIOS update. I was caught by surprise and thought maybe it was a virus and powered down. Now I cannot start up. When I power on there are loud beeps and black screen.

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Powering off during a BIOS update is not good.
Try all BIOS recovery options at the following HP site:
Desktop PCs (Link).
You may need HP factory service if you cannot recover the BIOS.
Regards
