HP ENVY Curved All-in-One - 34-b010
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

At the power on , the familiar HP splash page with the rotating circle is gone. Instead I get a black screen with device information and processor stuff then a jump to a Windows icon and the system begings to boot. I have lost the HP splach screen.

How can I corredct this?

@GMG6 -- you have "POST messages" set to "enable". Configure it to "disable", to NOT see the "details".

@GMG6 -- restart your computer, and enter BIOS SETUP mode. There is one option to enable/disable the "details" screen, and to disable/enable the "standard" HP wallpaper.

Thanks for the reply.

I have BIOS ver F.37 Rev A (Sept 2021) and I cannot loacate any entry for "details Screen" or any entry for "standard  HP wallpaper.

I h ave searched the BIOS menus and nothing is even close.

Sometimes, the entry in the BIOS menu is listed as "show details" -- that white text over a black background that you say that you are seeing.

The HP "logo" is a BMP (bitmap) file that is embedded in the computer's BIOS.

With the correct software tool, you can replace that file with your own "logo".

Can you use your smart-phone to take a picture of your BIOS Setup menu(s),

and post the image(s) here?
