I installed a new ssd and now pc will not power up

@Dalehite -- if you disconnect the power and data cables from the SSD, will the computer power-up?

 

Some power-supplies have a "rocker" switch near to where the AC power-cord connects to the computer.

Did you accidentally "flip" that switch to the "off" position?

No it does not work when I disconnect the drive.

 

I don't see a "flip" switch. There is no switch near the power plug.

Hmm. So, the SSD, by itself, is not the problem. 

 

Do you have a "spare" power-supply that you can temporarily connect to the motherboard, to see if that helps?

 

Check that the RAM is properly "seated" into its sockets.

 

Check that the power-leads are fully-connected to wherever that they should be connected.
