Hi guys,
I'm trying to clone a disk from an older HP ProDesk 400 G2 MT to my new HP Pro Tower 400 G9 because the documents and application inside are very important and copying all the files and softwares manually is to risky and to long to do.
After I cloned the disk using Filezilla Live and installing the ssd on the new PC I'm not able to boot into windows and I'm stuck in the "BootDevice Not Found" window. I've already tried to disable the secure boot option and setting up the bios administrator password but with no results. I can't find an option to enable legacy support and I don't know what else to do.
Someone can help?

If you no longer need the system disk from the old computer, why not connect it as a second drive, so you should have access to your files.
you try to make an older system work with another, even if you manage to boot with it, you may encounter other problems
Otherwise, the only solution would be to reconfigure the boot, but a wrong manipulation, and you risk losing everything

sorry, but if it is not recognized by the bios, I can't help you
Is it connected with the original ssd drive here, or alone?

Sorry, maybe a misunderstanding
I did not understand the manipulation at the beginning I think
What you may have done is clone the old SSD, to the new SSD, both computers have an SSD each?
What I want to know, also therefore, is that you may have erased the contents of the new SSD, in this case, you could not use the SSD of the new one as the main drive, and connect the old ssd second?

At first I cloned the old ssd from the old PC into the new ssd, then i mounted the new ssd into the new PC and I couldn't find a way to boot so I tried to erase the new ssd for installing windows 10 from all over, but I can't even find the drive in the installation (maybe the bios can't recognize it?). Is it because there are some sort of security parameter other than the secure boot option that I don't know about? Now I'm stuck with a PC I can't use in any way 😞

UPDATE: I created a usb with the hp cloud recovery and installed windows to the new ssd and now it's working, I think i will go for the hard road and copy all the files and programs manually from the old pc.
Thanks for the suggestions.
