HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0018nl

Hello, when starting up the PC (after turning it off and unplugging the power cord) I get a screen that I can't take a picture of because I'm temporarily without a mobile phone, which seems to signal a CMOS problem and suggests restarting.

After restart everything works perfectly. Waiting to be able to be more precise on the reported error, I would like to replace the buffer battery, but I would like to open the PC only after having known the battery code and having obtained it.

Is it perhaps the classic CR2032? Thank you Rosanna

Update, I managed to take a snapshot of the error screen. Invalid CMOS checksum. The default CMOS configuration will be restored and the computer will restart. Afterward, check the BIOS setup options to see if they change. CMOS reset (502). Enter - To restart the computer.

More update
Replaced the battery, but the problem persists.
See I turn off the PC but leave the power plug plugged in, restarting is normal, if I turn off the PC and unplug the power plug the problem returns. It would seem to me a battery problem, but even the new battery doesn't solve it. What other possible cause?
Thank you
