Since a recent power failure, my ProDesk 600 G2 that I use as a headless media server won't boot up. I have temporarily connected an HDMI cable to my TV using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (on the G2 end). When I power on, I can see the Pxie boot trying to get a DHCP address, or if I hit F10, I can get into the setup screen, but the screen goes blank after about 5 seconds. I tried doing a BIOS reset but that has not helped. Does the G2 version of these systems have issues with the DisplayPort/Adapter (ie am I seeing a symptom of something other than my original problem)? This system is used at our vacation home, so I don't an another monitor to test it with (although I may be able to track one down).
I had a similar issue about a year ago, but was able to clear it with a new OS install (maybe the boot block was corrupted by the power failure), and brought a keyboard/mouse and the DisplayPort adapter with me just in case, but now I'm seeing the blank screen issue.
Any ideas?
