HP All-in-One 27-dp0004la
Microsoft Windows 11

I sent my computer to a local workshop for an upgrade of memory and M2 SSD installation, and now the HP Support assistant do not recognize the product name and serial number. I Tryed to look by using the BCU utility (BIOS configuration utility), and it shows those field ( Product, Model, Serial number, System Family, Feature Byte and Build ID ) missed.

Is there a way my computer can get back those important data on it, for future references and eventual support?

Thank you.

Greetings @Juandoval

I would not worry about this problem if your PC is working correctly and the PC is out of warranty.

I can't imagine how this BIOS data was removed if the local PC Tech only did a memory upgrade and an SSD upgrade.

HP would probably have to add the missing data at the factory. I don't think HP would do this at no charge if you modified the PC's factory configuration by upgrading components.
