Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Small Form Factor PC
Q170 chipset is compatible with 7th gen intel cpus, but not the one which is in hp elitdesk 800 G2 sff,....what is there in HP computer that couses this???, or am I wrong, should ýthe generation work there?,....bios is updated

Hi:
Only the Intel Skylake processors are supported in the HP Elitedesk 800 G2 model series.
HP Elite 800 G2 Series Business Desktop (dectrader.com)
The 800 G3's support Intel 6th and 7th generation core processors.
