- Hello,
I have upgraded my memory ram a few weeks ago from 32 gb to 64 gb adding two more memory sticks of 16gb. Had no trouble until yesterday. From yesterday, everytime I boot the pc it takes ages for it to be responsive and start loading windows. It must be the ram because in bios I checked and it changed the memory settings by itself from Nmode 2 to Nmode 1. After putting back again to Nm mode 2 it went back to normal restarting without delay. After turning the pc off it started again to take ages to read the memory ram and boot up like 5 minutes. Also, when I enter recovery mode the keyboard and mouse are not responding, they have the lights on and are connected, but they are not responsive when I enter recovery mode from bios to restore from system restore. Can you help regarding these matters please?
This is the 2x16 gb ram I added and bought:
Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM Desktop Memory for Gaming
SKU: KF556C36BBEAK2-32
- Memory: 32GB (2x16GB)
- Latency Timing: CL36
- Form Factor: DDR5 UDIMM
- Profile Support: AMD EXPO, Intel XMP 3.0
Will attach photos of the Ram memory specs
And lasly, these are the BIOS memory settings, for some reason, command rate nmode was changed from 2 to 1 yesterday, changed back nmode to 2, but still didnt help, after shutting down and turning it takes a few minutes I asume to read the ram again.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
We know that in many cases, HP computers and especially HP gaming PCs are finnicky when it comes to RAM and achieving max RAM performance.
Look, merely based on my own anecdotal experience, I would advise against mixing RAM, and "stick" with the same RAM: same brand, model, and capacity/speed.
In your case, that is, if you are interested in issue-less and top performing RAM, I would strongly advise to purchase two identical 16GB HP Kingston Fury Beast HP52U40S8HA-16FRAE 5200 MHz RAM modules.
Amongst HP OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-2xxx Users, you are most likely to achieve top RAM performance as shown by this User:
