Hi there! The computer i am writing about is my parent's computer but they have been complaining that it has been stuck in this endless loop. I am no tech pro but whenever I start the computer, it pops up the recovery manager, then says restoration incomplete. Then another window behind it says the system cannot find the device specified. I checked the details and it said "there might be unexpected reboot during [windows setup]. The process will cause CTO panic because the image might not be normal now.." I click save log and then it says "insert a removable disk drive with at least 2MB of free space, and then click OK". I have no clue what that means and I'm not sure if this computer even has a disk drive. Someone please help!! And if you know the solution please explain in the simplest terms because I am just a college student trying to help my parents and this is my last resort lol.

It seems you are in the middle of an event that happened before the error. Let's start with the model number of the PC, please. Then, assuming some version of Windows, please post what version.
Then run the Diagnostics routine.
To run the Diagnostics routine, Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick Diagnostics from that popup menu, F2.
Report back with the results.
I'm not an HP employee.
