The CMOS was reset when the battery was replaced. If you want to reset it again then use the yellow button next to the battery.
Unplug the system from the wall
Press the power on button 3-4 times to discharge residual power
touch finger to the metal case to discharge static electricity then hold down the yellow button for 30 seconds.
Turn back on, press ESC then F10 to get into the bios setup and set the date and time
Please use an air duster or two to get all the dust out of the system especially the CPU fan cooler.
Was there a problem with the system other than the battery going dead?

What is the adapter in the x16 slot?
If it is a graphics card please remove it and use the DisplayPort or the DVI port to connect to the monitor
After powering on, press ESC as soon as the monitor "ready" led turns on. If you press too soon or too late you will have to turn the system off and back on to try again.
Take the opportunity to get dust out of the CPU heatsink, the power supply and the graphics card or whatever card is in the x16 slot

Moving the white clip away from the GPU card will unlock the board.
