Several years ago, I had an HP 7520 all-in-one printer . When it died in 2019, it was replaced by an HP 8020 series printer which I wasn't happy with, and promptly replaced it with my current HP 9015 Office Jet Pro printer. (of note, I also have an HP 4500 printer that is only used here at home as a back-up if needed. I am treasurer of a veterans group, and it travels with me to reunions, and otherwise during the summer season, it is used at a seasonal residence as a which I use with my desktop computer).

This past autumn, I was looking through my connected devices listing and noticed that the 7520 all in one printer was still on the list. I deleted that printer app. Ever since then, on each start-up I receive the following RunDLL error notification:

"There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\HP\HP Photosmart 7520 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll"  "The specified module could not be found". I can't figure out how to tell Start-up to stop looking for that 7520 printer's ink levels.

Is this somewhere in my System Configuration tied to one of the 6 HP services that appear there? The following HP services are turned on, and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with one of them.

HP App Helper HSA Service

HP Diagnostics HSA Helper Service

HP Network HSA Service

HP Print Scan Doctor Service

HP System Info HSA Service

HP Touchpoint Analytics

I even purchased RESTORO, which was supposed to repair broken links or fragments, but no luck with that.

When responding, lease note, my Tech training was in the late 1960's in the Navy, running IPM Punch Card technology on a Univac computer, and the Display was printed paper from a teletype machine. Modern tech terms are like a foreign language to me. Please keep any answer simple?

Thank you

Problem Solved: This was an issue at start-up. The old HP 7520 printer was deleted from the computer, but at each start up a RunDLL error message was generated: "There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\HP\HP Photosmart 7520 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll"  "The specified module could not be found".

The Windows 10 fix:

Windows key + R > type in Shell:Startup  > Select OK.  select and delete: "Monitor ink levels 7520".

Reboot computer, no more error message.
