HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000a (2Z6E1AV)

Have a nice day.

I have an HP Pavilion Gaming TG01 - 2019NT computer. (ID19 erica3-erica5) is a model with a motherboard. the processor of this model is ryzen 7 5700g. this computer of mine is working properly. when I plug the ryzen 5 3600 processor into this motherboard, even the bios (preload) does not work. it's just a black screen. when I installed the ryzen 7 5700g processor, everything is normal. when the ryzen 5 3600 is installed, there is only a black screen and no login. the operating frequencies of both processors are the same. my ryzen 5 3600 processor (prime b550m-a wifi ii motherboard) works smoothly on another motherboard, it's solid.
i made the latest bios update (sp155544) with ryzen 7 installed. i plugged the ryzen 5 3600 back into the motherboard, the black screen is locked and does not turn on. i'm wondering if you can solve my problem. remember, all the other parts are the same and actively working.

You're very welcome.

Erica3 motherboard specs:

HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Erica3 | HP® Support

Ryzen 5 3600 is not supported

Erica5 motherboard specs:

HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Erica5 | HP® Support

Ryzen 5 3600 is not supported

And according to the above information, if that printing on your PC's motherboard is correct, the Ryzen 7 5700g processor isn't supported either.

I would say that the motherboard is mislabeled.

Hi:

According to the product specs for your PC it comes with an Erica6 motherboard.

HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2019nt PC Product Specifications | HP® Support

HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Erica6 | HP® Support

The Erica6 motherboard only supports the following processors:

  • TDP: up to 65 W
  • Socket type: AM4
  • Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
    Processor
    TDP
AMD Ryzen 3 5300G (Cezanne) 4.0 GHz base clock, up to 4.2 GHz max boost clock, 8 MB L3 cache, 4 cores
    65 W
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G (Cezanne) 3.9 GHz base clock, up to 4.4 GHz max boost clock, 16 MB L3 cache, 6 cores
    65 W
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (Cezanne) 3.8 GHz base clock, up to 4.6 GHz max boost clock, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores
    65 W

The Ryzen 5 3600 processor is not supported which is why it isn't working.

The research I do .

1.  TG01-u2019t bilgisayarının anakartının erica6 olduğunu söylüyor. But it says erica3-erica5 on the motherboard. I guess they couldn't decide. 🤗🤗

2. erica3 anakart dökümanı. it doesn't say ryzen7 5700g support, but they sold it with this processor. So these documents are not very reliable either.

3.  erica5 anakart dökümanı. it doesn't say ryzen7 5700g support, but they sold it with this processor. So these documents are not very reliable either.

I also checked these transactions. a computer running on the ryzen 7 5700g processor, how come it doesn't work with the ryzen 5 3600. i wonder what is preventing this, not the bios. 🙄🤔🙄

I can only provide the information I can find which clearly indicates (at least to me) that the Ryzen 5 3600 is not supported, and you have proven that 100% by trying one in your PC.

Perhaps if you enter your PC's serial number in the HP PartSurfer database at the link below, it will provide the part number and description of the actual motherboard your PC came with.

HP PartSurfer

When I enter your PC's 434S2EA product number, it just returns the model number.
