I have a new HP Business Newest 13th Generation Envy i7 Tower Desktop, Intel Core i7-13700, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RJ45, SD Card Reader, HDMI, Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth, Wired Keyboard & Mouse, Windows 11 Pro, Black.
My monitor is the HP 2310 Series. The computer's screen does not completely display. The left, right, top, and bottom edges are cut off so that icons and control settings are largely not visible making it very difficult to move windows around (maximiz, minimize, etc), change settings or anything else. I was able to fix that issue only by changing screen resolution from recommended to a lower setting, then everything appeared as needed, but at lower than desirable resolution, AND everything appears somewhat squashed from top to bottom in such a way that a square appears as a rectangle with width longer than heighth. I had the Geek Squad work on the issue, but when they bring up the screen on their end and change resolution to full, they still see everything as it should appear. They recommended contacting seller, but it's an online Amazon purchase. So, is this maybe a monitor issue rather than one with the computer itself?
