Microsoft Windows 11

So i've had the desktop for over half a year without any issues, suddenly since a couple of days when I launch a game both of my screens disconnect at the same time. I can still hear things happening but I no longer have any possibilities to input anything. Sometimes this happens in the middle of playing a game, if I'm in a voice chat which is voice activation I can still use it but push to talk doesn't work anymore either.

I have swapped out the display port cables, switched to HDMI but this makes no difference. I have also opened my desktop and cleaned the inside, removed components and put them back in but none if this is helping.

I have also reinstalled windows already but to no avail, same with bios update and rollback.

I cannot find any other possible solutions so any help is appreciated.

Hi@AnneR5,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Desktop screen disconnects while playing games.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.

If the issue still persist then it could be a hardware issue on the PC.

For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
