OMEN 25L Desktop GT11-1000a/GT12-1000a (1Z1B3AV)

I have an HP OMEN 25L GT11-1022no, product number 4A6S4EA, with BIOS F.24 (October 2025).

After enabling Secure Boot, the PC showed “Secure Boot Violation — Invalid signature detected” and then “Boot Device Not Found (3F0).” Windows boots normally when Secure Boot is disabled.

Windows event 1808 reports that the 2023 Secure Boot CA/keys and boot manager were updated. Event 1796 repeatedly reports SBAT error 0x800700C1. HP's driver page lists no newer BIOS.Please investigate Secure Boot firmware/key compatibility for motherboard ID 8876 and BIOS F.24, and advise on a supported fix. I do not want to risk making Windows unbootable again.

Greetings @Leve13

Many folks having a GT1x-1000a PC (8876 MB), running BIOS version F.24, are having a Secure Boot problem.

You have two options:

1. Repeatedly check your PC's download site for a future BIOS update. Or use this HP Site to check for future BIOS updates.

Or you can wait for HPSA to push a future BIOS update. Windows Update might also push a newer BIOS version.

2. Try the Secure Boot workaround solution in this HP Forum Thread.

You'll have to do option 1 if option 2 does not work.

Regards
